2012 MILITARY BOWL PRESENTED BY NORTHROP GRUMMAN

Team Welcome Receptions
Bowling Green players, staff and families received a warm welcome at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel, While San Jose State wass greeted with excitement upon their arrival at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel. Receptions included plenty of food and brief remarks of welcome from Military Bowl, Events DC and Northrop Grumman representatives.

US Capitol Tours
BGSU & SJSU each took separate private guided tours of the US Capitol- the iPad minis from the player gift packages came in handy for this one!

Joint Team Event: Hypnotist Tom DeLuca
BGSU & SJSU came together on Christmas Eve for a laid back evening complete with plenty of laughs, hosted by hypnotist Tom DeLuca.

Community Visits
BGSU spent their morning singing carols and bringing cheer to the patients at HSC Pediatric Center, while SJSU took a different spin on bowl week, joining the residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home for a friendly bowling competition.

Teams Luncheon
BGSU & SJSU joined WJLA/ABC-7′s Britt McHenry, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray, sponsors, fans, volunteers and staff for the annual Teams Luncheon at the JW Marriott Hotel.
