Game Info

When is the game?
The 2014 Military Bowl® presented by Northrop Grumman kicks off on Saturday, December 27. Fans should plan to arrive in their seats by 12:30 p.m. for pregame festivities before kickoff at 1 p.m.

Where is the game?
The 2014 Military Bowl will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.  The stadium is located at 550 Taylor Avenue.

Where can I park?
Parking will be available at the stadium on gameday for $20 (cash only). Presold parking passes can be purchased in advance for $40.  Additional parking options near the stadium are available as well. For more information, please visit our Parking page.

What time will parking lots open at the stadium?
Parking lots will open to fans at 8:30 a.m. Additional information can be found here: Parking

Can I tailgate in the parking lot?
Tailgating will be permitted within the N-MCMS Stadium parking lot for those with a valid parking pass and will be restricted to the area directly behind one’s car. Additionally, there will be no saving of parking spaces. Please note that lots will not allow reentry. Additional parking information can be found here: Parking

When do doors open to the stadium?
Stadium gates will open to the public at 11 a.m.

When does Bowl Week start?
Teams are expected to arrive in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 23. Official Bowl Week events for fans in Annapolis start on Dec. 26. For more information, check out our Bowl Week page.

What can I bring into the stadium?

Can I purchase alcohol at the game?
Yes, beer will be sold at concession stands.  Beer will be sold at the pregame tailgate as well.

What is the best way to get from Washington, D.C. to the stadium?
Although the stadium is just a short drive from Washington, D.C., there will be shuttle services available for $25 round trip from the Official Bowl Hotels. For more information, please see our Shuttles page.

Will the game be on television?
The game will be televised live on ESPN.

Tickets

Which team will sit on each side of the stadium?
The Blue side of the stadium is designated for Virginia Tech. The Gold side of the stadium is designated for Cincinnati. A map of seating options can be found on our Tickets Page.

How can I get tickets?
Tickets for the 2014 Military Bowl are on sale now! Click here to purchase tickets.

Can I show my Print@Home tickets on a mobile phone?
No. If the Print@Home delivery option is selected for tickets, the tickets must be physically printed. Mobile phones may not be presented at the stadium gates for entry.

Do members of the armed forces get any special ticket pricing?
Complimentary tickets for the 2014 Military Bowl at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium will be made available for service members and their families closer to game day in December. Tickets will once again be distributed through the USO-Metro Ticketline. You can also donate tickets for military members and their families on our website. Do I need a ticket for my child?
All children ages 2 and under do not require a ticket.  All children over the age of 2 must have a ticket to enter the game. Additional ticket policies can be found in our Ticket Terms of Use on our Ticket Page.

What happens if I lose my ticket before the game?
If you lose your ticket before the game please contact our office at 202-776-2919 or rbartholomew@militarybowl.org.  Each customer will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Can we re-enter the stadium?
No, unlike Navy football home games our fans will not be allowed re-entry.

I need accessible (ADA) seating for the game. How do I purchase these seats?
ADA seats are available for purchase like any other seat.  They can be purchased by calling 888-841-2787 from from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST 7 days a week.

Where should I stay?
There are five Official Bowl Hotels, two in Annapolis and one in Washington, D.C. Additional information can be found on our Hotels page.

Which team is home and which team is away?
Home and away teams will be announced along with the matchup in early December.

Are there any bowl week events that we can attend?
We’re excited to introduce a number of brand new fan events in Annapolis leading up to the 2014 Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, along with the return of popular gameday events. Plans in the works include team pep rallies at each of our Official Fan Hotels, a Pub Crawl, Gallery Walk, the Military Bowl 5KMilitary Bowl Parade led by the Budweiser Clydesdales, Official Tailgate and more!

Which airports are best for traveling to/from the game?
Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) [25 miles from stadium]
Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) [37 miles from stadium]
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) [62 miles from stadium]

What forms of transportation are available in Washington, D.C.?
Washington, D.C. has an elaborate Metro Rail and Bus system which can get you almost anywhere.  There are also taxis available for hire throughout the city.
