Military Appreciation
For those in the military, we salute you. Your tickets are on us and are available through the Military Bowl’s partnership with the USO and its local charter center, USO of Metropolitan Washington. Click here for locations of USO centers where you can pick up your tickets.
Here in the Washington-Baltimore area there are more than 500,000 active duty service members. The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman is proud to raise awareness and support for the USO in the mid-Atlantic region. The USO lifts the spirits of these troops and their families through morale-boosting programs, services, and engaging entertainment like our post-season NCAA bowl game from RFK Stadium.
How to Get Involved
By attending the game or by donating tickets, you enable the USO to provide this college football experience for the military and their families during the holidays. Free tickets are made available to the military by donating here. The donation of tickets provides military members and their families with complementary seating for the game, made available to them through the local USO chapter in December.
Through our partnership with WJFK-FM, 106.7 The Fan, the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman will thank military families live on the air with a special game day experience for their family. Each Friday through the game on December 28, 106.7 The Fan will announce one deserving military family who will win four premium seats to the game, a parking pass, and the chance to go down onto the field for the presentation of the trophy.
Charitable Contributions
Funds raised from the bowl help thousands of military personnel and their families through the game’s partnership with the USO. USO’s mission is to lift the spirits of America’s troops and military families. Last year, the Military Bowl donated $100,000 to the organization and provided more than 5,000 game tickets for service members and their families. In addition, the USO receives national exposure through the nationally broadcast game on ESPN. Logos are present on the 25 yard lines and throughout the stadium.
