FOUNDATION EVENTS
The Military Bowl Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates premier events in the National Capital Region to benefit our nation’s service members. Originally formed to operate the region’s first-ever college football postseason bowl game, the Foundation now not only operates the Freedom Mortgage Military Bowl but additionally operates the DC Touchdown Club and Patriot Point, a retreat for recovering service members, their families and caregivers on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The Foundation hosts engaging events throughout the year to raise money and awareness for our service members and looks forward to continuing to extend its reach and benefit those who give so much of themselves for our country. Home of the Free... Because of the Brave Dinner

Founded and hosted by Military Bowl Foundation board member Paul Norman, Home of the Free ... Because of the Brave provides a first-class night out and welcome respite for military service members and their guests. Held annually on the opening night of the NFL season, Home of the Free ... Because of the Brave provides the opportunity for sponsors and paying guests to show their appreciation and support for the attending service members, many of whom are recovering from injuries at Washington-area military hospitals.
DC Touchdown Club Awards Dinner

The Touchdown Club Awards Dinner annually brings together the National Capital Region’s football community to honor the best and brightest. Award winners include retired star players and coaches, college and high school players of the year, legendary coaches, media members and more.
DC Touchdown Club Golf Outing
JUNE 2027
The Touchdown Club Golf Outing annually attracts a capacity field to one of the region’s best courses for a great day of fun and camaraderie while raising funds for Patriot Point. Golfers include retired Washington Redskins players, Military Bowl Foundation board members, DC Touchdown Club Executive Committee members, business leaders and football fans as they come together for a splendid day on the links.
